A two-unit intergenerational home in Ramsay, Calgary — featuring a Kookum Laneway House, rooftop Indigenous gathering space, shared ceremonial outdoor area, and a dedicated mural wall for Indigenous artists.
A 47-unit Indigenous affordable townhouse development featuring a commercial kitchen, daycare, Cultural Family Room, and public Indigenous art — located next to the future Calgary Transit Green Line.
Who We Are
Assini Development was founded on the principle that Indigenous families deserve safe, dignified, and affordable homes — built by and for their communities. We work in partnership with First Nations, Métis and Indigenous communities to develop non-market housing that reflects cultural values and long-term community vision.
Our approach is community-led at every stage — from land selection and design to construction and stewardship. We believe housing is not just shelter; it is the foundation of culture, family, and belonging.
